Mustang Gold is a five-reel, three-row video slot from Pragmatic Play, set on a Western plain with wild horses and campfires. Twenty-five fixed paylines carry the wins, and the horseshoes matter as much as the animals: three matching symbols on a line pay, and horseshoes pay through the Collect symbol on the fifth reel rather than on a line.
What separates it from much of the provider's catalogue is the Collect mechanic running through the base game and the free spins alike. Three campfires open eight free spins on reels thick with horseshoes, a JACKPOT tag can launch a pick round for Grand, Major, Minor or Mini, and the base game never stops paying line wins alongside.
Each A$100 staked on Mustang Gold returns A$96.53 on average across long play, and the return figure that applies to your session sits in the game rules screen.

The usual worry is not knowing what a win or a feature looks like on screen.
Extra spins ahead
This block settles how each round starts, what it adds and where the money comes from.
1 or more horseshoe Money Symbols on reels 1-4 plus a Collect symbol on reel 5 add up every visible value in the same spin. That total, in multiples of the total bet, is added to the payline win. It runs in the base game and in Free Spins.

3 campfire Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 trigger 8 free spins. The special reels carry more Money Symbols and Collect symbols than the base game. A retrigger needs 3 more Scatters and adds 8 more free spins, with no limit on retriggers.

1 round plays for each JACKPOT tag collected through the Collect symbol on reel 5, one after another. In each round you pick horseshoes to reveal jackpot symbols. Matching 3 of the same awards that jackpot: Grand 1000x, Major 200x, Minor 100x, Mini 50x total bet.

Know your payout
Vegasnow Casino sets out each step of a round before you place a bet.
A$0.25 is the lowest bet on Mustang Gold, A$250 the highest in this market. The paytable uses A$0.40, and a higher stake raises every symbol win in the same proportion.
Three matching symbols on one of the 25 fixed paylines make a win. Ordinary symbol wins are multiplied by the bet per line, not the total bet.
Horseshoes on reels 1 to 4 add values to a payline win when reel 5 shows the Collect symbol in that spin. Money Collect works in the base game and Free Spins.
Three campfire Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 trigger 8 Free Spins. Special reels carry more Money Symbols and Collect symbols than the base game.
A Free Spins round gives 8 spins; each retrigger adds 8 more, with no cap. Set a limit before the first spin, because session length cannot be known in advance.
96.53 percent is the RTP of Mustang Gold, a long-run figure per A$100 staked, and it says nothing about one session. How often the Free Spins or a Jackpot Reveal Bonus Game comes is not known before the first spin. A session can end far above or far below its starting balance, whatever the RTP is.
96.46 percent belongs to Mustang Gold Megaways, a separate game in the series, not to this version. Which RTP version this site runs is shown only in the game rules, so check there before the first spin.
x12,000 is the highest multiple of the stake that Mustang Gold can pay, and it is a ceiling that is reached very rarely. Nobody can predict when a spin will come close to it, and a session that reaches it cannot be planned or repeated on purpose.
Demo Mode

18+ applies to the real game only: the demo needs no money and pays nothing, while real play needs an account at Vegasnow Casino.

The six points Australian players ask about first, answered without long detours.
The sheet lists one RTP for Mustang Gold: 96.53%, measured on the basis of A$100 staked, which returns A$96.53 over time. No second version of this game is published, so the figure you meet in the lobby is the one that applies.
Three campfire Scatters landing on reels 2, 3 and 4 open eight free spins on special reels that carry more Money Symbols and Collect symbols. Three more Scatters inside the feature add eight more spins, with no cap on retriggers.
This page covers the slot's figures and rules, and demo play is not part of the material these answers rest on. Read the paytable and the mode descriptions first, then decide your stake from the amounts the game accepts.
Stakes run from A$0.25 at the floor to A$250 at the top of the game. The examples used across this page are A$0.40, A$0.50 and A$5. Wins on ordinary symbols are paid on bet-per-line across 25 fixed lines.
The cap is 12,000 times the total bet. At A$5 that equals A$60,000, and at the A$250 ceiling it reaches A$3,000,000. Every win, including the jackpots, is measured against that ceiling.
Pragmatic Play rates Mustang Gold at medium volatility, so wins arrive with moderate frequency at moderate size rather than in rare large bursts. How often the campfire Scatters land in any single session cannot be known before you play.
After Mustang Gold
Useful when Mustang Gold is on your shortlist and you want other options from the same provider.
Players in Australia must be 18 or over. If play stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is on 1800 858 858, and BetStop is the national self-exclusion register.
Decide the total amount you will spend on Mustang Gold before you open the game, and treat A$250 as the ceiling of one bet, not a target for the evening.
Name the amount that ends your session, whether you are up or down when it arrives, and keep that line fixed after a jackpot reveal lands.
Deposit and loss limits set in the account apply before any stake is placed, and they hold across every game, not only this slot.
When the chase for free spins outweighs the fun, use a pause or self-exclusion through BetStop rather than raising your stake to recover.
